The Cometic C15266-054 MLX Cylinder Head Gasket is a high-quality replacement for the blown-out head gasket in your 2019-2021 Ram 6.7L Cummins. This gasket is manufactured from multiple layers of stainless steel for greater strength, ability to rebound, and corrosion resistance. The gaskets’ exterior layers have a fluoroelastomer rubber-based coating on both sides that is embossed and heat-resistant to 250C (482F). This rubber-based compound is engineered to be durable enough to withstand a wide range of demanding sealing conditions, load situations, and surface finishes. The uncoated stainless-steel middle layer, also known as the shim layer, is folded back on itself to form the locking section of the bore seal.
