The stock catalytic converter is retained, and all piping following the cat is replaced with 4″ mandrel bent piping and a high-flow muffler. The polished stainless Monster muffler flows up to 129 percent better than the stock muffler, and the stainless-steel exhaust system flows up to 122 percent more than the factory exhaust. The muffler’s expansion chamber disperses the annoying mid-range exhaust drone that most straight-through mufflers produce. This muffler is made of spun ceramic, which is a high-temperature packing material that produces an aggressive but not overbearing tone. A polished rolled-edge 5″ exhaust tip with an adjustable clamp allowing you to put it where you wish on the tailpipe.
